Jungle Group

Things have been happening fast in the “jungle world” that is my room. Myriad creatures have arrived making my room look like a railway station. Previously, you have been introduced to Jaga and Moosy. Now there is Leo the lion, Puppy the dog, Dog the puppy and Bunny the Easter rabbit in order of appearance. I shall proceed to give you a short character sketch of each.
Leo the lion, an avid 24 fan, thinks Jack can never die. He is small but can stand his own against any of the other creatures. He has an intelligent expression on his face and is quite obsessed with his hair. Each day he makes a new hair style and I have to rid all fancy ones by giving him a good shake. He is most afraid of hair dryers and loves shampoos and conditioners
Puppy the dog, the only female in the forest but quite un-beautiful to look at, tried to dance with each of the other creatures in turn. The tiger slept off in between, Moosy had a big nose and tummy which got in the way and Lion was too small for the big Puppy. Puppy, when she first came had a habit of saying the most romantic things in the most old womanly voice possible. Her dialogues ranged from, “I think it’s puppy love” to “You’re doggone cute” and finally what drove us mad was “woof woof Give me a kiss”. We were forced to shut her up forever.
Dog the puppy, a small dog with disproportionately long ears who can fly and can hang from anything. We tried reasoning with him that dogs don’t fly. But he wouldn’t listen. He scared poor Jaga off by flying and reaching his nose. So we had to put him in a basket under a pillow. He has the most droopiest expression and the funniest furs.
Bunny is a black and white Easter rabbit with long bunny ears, which made dog think he was perhaps a bunny too. Bunny loves his ears and claps, dances, head bangs with it, when he is not bouncing about. He bounces about all the time, scaring (waking) Jaga out of his wits by bouncing on him. When he first arrived the other animals told him that Jaga was the most active of them all and Bunny should go play with him. Bunny tried and tried to wake up Jaga, and after a while gave up. So now he takes his revenge by bouncing about and annoying all of us, most of all Jaga. He has a pink nose and a naughty expression to match his disposition. His special talent is his ability to gather news and secrets with his super sharp ears which go beep beep when he is engaged in such an activity. Bunny loves the new serial “Drive” and loves to play Jeopardy!.
Special Guest appearances by Rafael the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and a snow white bear which sits stupidly on the book shelf.
