The one I wish to love

Where are you, the robot I wish to marry?
when shall I give the orders you will carry
Where are you, oh spaceship pilot?
where are you, my subservient zealot?
Take me to the end of the universe
Spout to me sentimental poetry and verse
You, who shall look like a Greek God
To my commands you will meekly nod
You will follow me around like a dog
And worship me like I am a demagogue
I will love for you to be at my feet
And wait for every kick or piece of meat
You will open doors for me to enter
Think I am your goddess and mentor
You will get jealous of other men
So I can laugh at your lack of ken
I will flirt with them, all I like
And tell you to go take a hike
But you should, of course, come back
And eat the left over snack
You will excite oohs and ahs from all girls
While around my finger your mind twirls
I will show you off, when I can
When I can't, you will be no man
You will apologize almost every minute
For the mistakes you didn't commit
Not once will you tell me that I am wrong
Just admire and praise me all day long
If only I could find you somehow
You will be the one I "Love".

Guess what?

Not a sound on the streets of New York
The zipper man on the sidewalk
I didn't know who you were with
Mr Darcy and Elizabeth
Its not personal its business
Entire generation of cocktail waitresses
Thank your ladies and gentlemen
Go to the mattresses to win
In-park homogenize the world land of mocachino
A personality for 2.95, tall decaf cappuchino
I am in the middle of a project that needs tweaking
she was too young but, shewas enchanting
1, 2, 3, 4 we don't want this superstore
Everyone is breaking up, you me and the man in the elevator
what is so wrong with being personal?
Mr 152 insights into my soul
My life is small but valuable
She's pretty but she's a pill
Who belongs to this fish
You would forgive me, Oh how I wish
Patricia makes coffee nervous
Leave the gun take the cannolis
He couldn't possibly be the roof-top killer
Remember when we thought Frank was the una bomber
A butterfly in the subway
Isn't it the most beautiful day?
There is the dream of someone
Tea with milk or lemon?
I can never be with someone who has a boat
Did you come to gloat?
Bouquet of sharpened pencils in fall
I am a lone reed standing tall
Gillian ran off with nanny Maureen, ironic.
I was worried. I heard you were sick
Maybe he was in a subway accident
That's not what I meant
Is it about love? No. How cute!
You are nothing but a suit
Don't cry shopgirl, don't cry.
Let's go see the storybook lady
The sun will come shining tomorrow
Somewhere over the rainbow
